Suzani, suzane, is the decoratively embroidered panel either on a white or color cotton fabric or silk, widespread among the people of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and used as an element of interior decoration. Suzani was a part of bride's obligatory dowry. Traditionally the embroidery started at a birth of the daughter and continued till the bride's dowry had not been completely collected.
