STUNNING HANDWORK c 1880 Antique Indigo Blue White QUILT 74X74 Hand Sewn Quilted

  
The handwork is just stunning! The quilt is expertly hand quilted much of it with a double stitch (two rows). Pieced by hand, quilted and bound by hand 9"-10" per inch. The block pattern is called " Double X", there are triangles, plain blocks and squares on the border.

Circa 1880, there is some light age tanning/spotting, two small holes in one small area. The indigo has tiny white polka dots in sets of two. The binding has come undone on one corner on the back about 2 long.

I have used Oxyclean to soak out spots, stains, much much worse than this on an antique tablecloth. PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PHOTOS AS THEY ARE A LARGE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.
