RARE Antique/Vtg JOBLOT/Bundle of x7 IRISH PURE LINEN +METIS UNUSED DOWRY SHEETS. Here we have a unique opportunity for you to own a whole set of unused Irish bed Linen sheets.

They have been stored away in an airing cupboard since the 1950s... So unfortunately a couple do have some marks commensurate to this. The original label is sill attached to one offering a 3 year guarantee but no sale date.

The sheets have that lovely heavy, glazed, cool feel. I did a quick `burn` test to a stray piece of thread where one sheet has a slight break to edge , photographed near red cotton, and this confirms pure linen. I would say that at least 4 are Pure linen, the rest a Linen-Cotton blend (Metis). I have included lots of photographs of the weave close up that can be supersized for your inspection.

I have simply unfolded these to measure and check for faults. A couple have pencil signatures upon them still. 667g 244cm X 201cm 3.
