This is an amazing antique French ciel de lit / bed canopy/ wooden structure for projects. I have never seen another like it! Made from wood with gorgeous motifs and with its original checked skirt! The piece is delightfully carved and would make a wonderful decorative feature, it can be used in all manner of ways as part of an exciting French inspired project. In ultimate shabby chic condition with wear commensurate with its great age. Some surface wear from over a century of use and has not been cleaned. The checked skirt is very dirty and is timeworn. The skirt is pinned on to the woodwork.
