OUTSTANDING Vintage 1880s Victorian Silk Antique Crazy Quilt AMAZING EMBROIDERY! This VIBRANT silk and velvet 1870's/1880's Victorian crazy tied quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with gorgeous hand embroidered accents. Wonderful zigzags, stars, anchors, fans, flowers, the word "MOM, " and other embellishments are densely packed into the quilt, all with a rich burgundy velvet border. It measures 54" X 64" and is in excellent, unwashed condition, with one painted silk block with damage (apparently from the paint), and no wear. The back is a handsome early brown silk fabric, and the batting -- if any -- is very thin.

The photos just don't do justice to this DAZZLING 19th century COLLECTOR'S QUILT in GREAT CONDITION -- it would make a superb wall hanging!
