Rare set of 12 antique French Alencon lace placemats featuring griffins. These are dramatic and beautiful!

The placemats measure 12 x 18 inches, color is light ecru. Hand laundered, clean and bright. We only note some shade variations, and a couple small openings in the lace (see last photo).
