Fortuny 1920's Cotton Fabric in his Crosoni Pattern on a Sage Green Ground

  
I have a rare length of Fortuny 1920s woven cotton, satin weave fabric, the back has a silk faille backing that Fortuny is so well known for. This fabric is in his Crosoni pattern of a French Directoire design of a large diagonal motif of silver patterned oak and mountain laurel leaves on a sage green ground that has subtle variations in the background color that is so typical of Fortuny. The old method of applying the metallic is not as thick and chunky as modern metallic.

The older method is much thinner since it was hand applied. Fully lined with a coordinating Dupioni silk that shimmers from greens to reds. This listing is for one yard of fabric and will be cut from a length. Once cut from the length, fabric is not returnable! Excellent condition with an aged patina.
