EYE CATCHING Vintage 1880's "Old Italian Block" Lattice Antique Patchwork Quilt! This ELEGANT cotton 1880's "old Italian block" quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with an unusual lattice configuration and nice blue border. It measures 64" X 80" and is in excellent condition, with the occasional light age spot and no wear. The quilting is SUPERB, with close straight line and zigzag designs quilted throughout at an even 8-9 stitches to the inch. The back and hand stitched binding are white, and the batting is thin.
You can see cotton seed residue inside when you hold the quilt up to the light. The NICE QUILTING and UNUSUAL DESIGN make this 19th century COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out!
