You will simply ADORE this Crazy Quilt that is one of two INCREDIBLE finds we recently discovered which actually date back to the Victorian era!!! This EXQUISITE piece is backed in a gold silk fabric and measures approximately 8 by 7 feet. It features a MYRIAD of intricate designs with hand embroidery, and unique 3-dimensional textures like the adorable baby chick featured in our cover photo, the fuzzy green caterpillar, bonnets and flower bouquets with ribbons, guitar with strings and much more! Its hard to believe this lovely quilt is so complete and over 100 years old! You cant help but notice the intricate stitches that were used to piece this quilt together...

Composed of all the beauty that nature provides to all of us! There are flowers, spiders, an owl, a caterpillar, butterflies and even a lovely vignette of a girl sitting on a fence.

The rich, maroon velvet fabric that is torn and missing on the border (see photos) is actually a testament to the age of this quilt and its uniqueness! Notice the Victorian fans in the corners - also a nod to the time period when this quilt was created.

It has been suggested that rather than restoration, iINDIVIDUAL 12 by 12 squares of this quilt would be suitable for framing and provide little pieces of history for you and others to enjoy!
