Large Early Antique Flemish Lace Collar 17th Century Point de France Style. A substantial piece of lace, this is 17th Century Flemish Bobbin Lace, fashioned into a collar, perhaps later in the 19th Century. It's tissue light and airy, the motifs are in the style of Point de France. Rare to find, expecially in this size. There are several small breaks as shown, this is untreated. Measures a bit over 7" wide, measures approx 32" across when laid flat. As you can see on the mannequin it's a substantial collar.
