A Rare Antique Ottoman Horse Saddle Back. The silk velvet ground worked in the most exquisite. Raised silver metallic three dimensional stumpwork. Finished with a silver metallic tassel fringe The linen backing is applied with remnants of old calligraphic papers which appear to be written in Albanian (Basque). Dating from early 18th century. Good antique condition considering age and type appropriate signs of age. Antique patina to silverwork some losses and rubbing.
