Maria NiforosAntique Lace & Textiles. Circa 1860-80s, a wonderful cream Brussels bobbin and needle lace flounce measuring apprx. 174 around by 28 wide. Centimetres apprx 441.96cm by 71.12cm A elegant design with large floral bouquets, garlands of flowers and bows. There are numerous flower swags in the design and a tremendous amount of work went in to this large elegant flounce. A beautiful design and excellent workmanship.

The lace seems rarely used, and has it's original patina. There are a few repairs in the ground, so WELL DONE that they could only have been made by a master lacemaker and done early in time. IN VERY GOOD STRONG CONDITION. This was rarely used otherwise it would not be in such overall good condition. In very good condition, item was unwashed.
