Antique French Embroidered Crewelwork cover. Pale green silk ground decorated in Jacobean design with sumptuous skillfully embroidered exotic flowers. Finished with wide Olive Green velvet borders. Has not been dry cleaned, general signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Dust marks / storage marks. Quite a few metallic threads loose /missing (which in my opinion does not detract). Wear / restorations to edges examples shown in last two photographs.

Certainly not in'as new' condition however remains a very decorative panel, which displays very well. SIZE:- 72 inches x 72 inches (183cm x 183cm).
