Antique Family Quilt Patchwork 1.5 Postage Stamp Squares Trip Around the World

  
Based on memories, we are guessing this was made in the 1920s or 1930s. I think this is the Trip Around the World pattern done in little squares. The squares are roughly 2" cut squares, 1.5" finished. Mostly blues, brick red, peach, pale yellow, with purple in the center. The material on the back is blue & white checkerboard-like.

Straight-line quilting stitched by hand. Measures approximately 77" x 70". This quilt is uneven, so it's a little hard to peg it exactly. The photos show it laid out on a California King size bed.

Imperfect design in the color layout of the squares. There are MANY SHREDS / HOLES / TEARS from it being tossed in the washing machine. The yellow fabric pieces seem to have taken the brunt of it.
