Antique Brussels Point de Gaze lace handkerchief monogram MAC

  
I recently bought a wonderful collection of late 19th/early 20th century handkerchiefs, each with the monogram MAC. All in excellent condition, apart from some age browning here and there. I have not laundered them - they would probably whiten when washed. This one has a fine Brussels point de gaze border.

I'm pretty sure this is unused - the lace has a lovely crisp patina. There is the occasional small break to the net, the fine lawn is pulling away from the border in a couple of places and there is some very slight discoloration to the lawn.
