A wonderful set of motifs, some finely embroidered, including Adam & Eve standing either side of the tree of life with a snake coiled around its trunk, birds, a house, angels, flowers, potted flowering plants, hearts, thistles, a shepherd and shepherdess with sheep, dogs and butterflies. No stains other than slight uniform age darkening of the ground. Colours are slightly faded but still well defined.
