Description: This listing is for 19th century (1800s) sewing basket with contents. Looks very nice for display see first two photos. The basket it wooden and it lined with tan homespun fabric.The basket contains the following. A yellow and green circular pin cushion- cushion does have two tears with stuffing coming out. A Tan floral pin cushion that is attached to basket - has a few small stains.
Tan crochet thread Brooks Crochet Cotton 30 200 yards -looks like most of it is there, some stains on thread. Rose colored thread The Brainerd & Armstrong Co Best in the world Color A 178 - looks like alot of it is still there. Light Pink colored thread Pequoig machine twist pure dye- most of it is gone. There is also two small crochet items look like hats for a barbie but might be small for barbie they are both intact but have a few stains. Condition: Basket is intact liner has a few stains.Measures: 9.5" x 4.5". What is item made from (if applicable): wood, fabric, thread. If Item is made from metal, does magnet stick to it. PLEASE NOTE: On October 1 we suffered a severe storm in Pennsylvania, and some of our earliest listed store items have been destroyed by mega water in our basement. We have since thrown away ALL damaged items. There may, however be a couple of listings that have not been taken down. Our items are mostly 100 years old or so.
