Vintage Caernarfon Large Double Sided Welsh Tapestry Blanket/Throw
Vintage Caernarfon Large Double Sided Welsh Tapestry Blanket/Throw. Dimensions 90 inches x 73 inches. Believed to be from Penmachno Mill in the 1920s. Made for my grandmothers wedding and passed to my mother in 1952 on the occasion of her wedding. Beautiful vibrant crimson, denim blue and plum colours on a coal background.
Fully reversible with more colour on one side than the other. There has been a professional minor repair to one edge following an altercation with the family cat.
