Offered is this rare early model (1930's) accordian style wood sewing box by Strommen Bruk Hamar of Norway. This early model has its original Art Deco style high rimmed rubber wheels and metal brackets (later models with wooden brackets and no wheels).When fully extended it is over 42" long (55" with top trays open). It is 13" wide, and 22" tall to the top of the box (27 1/2 to top of handle). Note: one screw on the handle is missing, but doesn't effect operation. Except for age appropriate minor wear this is incredible condition. The great finish and blonde wood lend to a great appearance.
