Known in the modern day as the Lady and the Unicorn, original designs were drawn in Paris and woven in Flanders during the 16th century, now on permanent display at the Musée de Cluny in Paris. The set of six tapestries, five of which represent the five senses, are surrounded by mystery and dubbed the Mona Lisa of the Middle Ages. This reproduction, believed to be late 19th century, represents the sense of hearing, as the Unicorn and the companion listen while the Lady plays them a tune.

The tapestry is nicely faded with no damage, recently mounted on a hanger for ease of display. 44.9 x 35 Inches.
