Fab Antique Victorian 68 Paisley Shawl 1 Welsh Family Owned Two Sided Minor TLC
This beautiful Victorian Welsh shawl. Is one family owned since new (around 1880) and has'survived' in good condition because it was only worn for very special occasions. The shawl is double sided with neat hand stitched finish to the hemmed/edged borders. The sides with fringes/tassels appear to be pretty much intact. The shawl measures approximately 68 square, not including the tassels.
I noticed a couple of very minor signs of wear, commensurate age and I have tried to show these small flaws in some of the photographs, so please check relevant images.
