This particular sampler lists the alphabet in lower case lettering twice instead of once as typically shown in samplers. In one set of the lower case letters the crafter mistakenly made a V and W in upper case lettering. At the end of the sampler is a small heart. The sampler is framed in its original, carved wooden frame with leaf accents at the corners. This sampler would make a great addition to any ancestry or embroidery collection! Three of the four leaves have broken tips. A very light stain is near the bottom and near the top. All stitches appear to be intact. Overall in VERY GOOD condition for its age. Please refer to the photos for the best details. Sampler alone measures 7 1/2" wide and 9 1/4" long. Entire piece measures 12 3/4" wide and 14 3/4" long. These charges are the buyers responsibility. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as gifts - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. Please note that we try our hardest to assure accurate descriptions of the items we list. Thank you and good luck!
