1890 large Belgian Vieux Flandre lace cape collar with long front falls. Vieux Flandre lace was a term used in the late 19th and early 20th C.
For a combination of Duchesse/Bruges style bobbin lace with a background of Alencon needle lace mesh. This dramatic cape/collar is about 11 in. Deep at the center back, about 25 in.Around the top inside edge, with front falls of about 32 in. Washed and clean, ivory / light ecru.
