ANTIQUE AMERICAN 1920s VINTAGE OLD FEED SACK PATCHWORK QUILT FLOUR SACK BACK

  
A lovely Antique hand made American Quilt. Made from feed sack fabrics and backed with flour sack fabric. (Some of the faint blue print writing on the flour sacks can be seen on the back of the quilt). Comes with a hand written note saying that the quilt was made by a Grandmother and given to the writer when she went to live in "the little house" on "The Farm" in 1948. The handwritten note is dated 1986. There is a round large dark coloured stain in one corner (see photo) and a smaller one in another corner. Neither of these stains have a smell to them. There is some staining on the back (see photo) - although most of these stains appear to have been on the original flour sacks themselves. There are no holes that I can see to the front of the quilt. There is a small amount of fraying to some sections of the hems and there is some rub wear on the backing.
