The handwork and thread used is of the highest quality with a high thread count, making for a true skillful work of art. Extra fine linen with a high thread count, buttery soft. The sheet is well preserved and worthy of collecting, and very useable. Dates from the 1920's when these sheet sets were in great favor with the women of the period. This Queen sheet has recently been laundered and pressed and is in very good condition, no stains, repairs, HOWEVER has 3 tiny holes, as shown in last photo. The set is strong and sturdy. I laundered this sheet and had it professionally pressed at cleaners. Sometimes light stains appear at the cleaners, these light stains always disappear after another laundering.
I did find one small yellow spot and a surface smudge at corner that I must mention. Would look lovely on your bed, or, would make a great gift.
